5th grade students have worked all year researching, learning, and preparing presentations for a passion project of their choosing. Today they shared their learning with students, staff and special guests! Lots of learning about topics ranging from law enforcement call codes, flavored butters, book publishing, learning to play guitar, various famous historical battles, and much more!






The last PTO meeting of the year is tonight! 7:00 at CES. Our PTO is needing in influx of volunteers and new ideas! We'd love for you to join us tonight at 7!


Students have been learning about the Earth and rocks and minerals. Today they learned about renewable and nonrenewable resources through cookie mining. The students had to use mining money to purchase land(chocolate chip cookies) and tools (paper clips and tooth picks). They used those resources to mine for chips. Then they reclaimed the land. Some students’ mines were very successful while others were not profitable. Fun day of learning!







5th graders Elaina and Karrington have been researching the impact of plastics and trash on ocean wildlife. They have researched and identified a trusted non-profit (Team Seas) that support ocean clean up and wildlife helps efforts, and are collecting quarters thru May 22.

Congratulations to Grady for being named Cougar of the Day! He was nominated by Mrs. O'Brien because he always gives 100% and has a great attitude. Well done Grady!


Third grade mini-mall was open today! Mini-mall encourages creativity and entrepreneurship and is the end of year celebration for students who earned money for being responsible and reinforces financial literacy standards.








Congratulations to today's Cougar of the Day... Harrison!! Harrison was nominated by Miss Stout because he has been working hard on personal growth and development goals, and has made great progress! We are proud of you Harrison, keep it up!!!

So many amazing bus riders so few weeks of school! This week we have co-bus riders of the week!! Give it up for Lynnox and Natalie this week! Both were nominated because they are quiet and respectful on the bus allowing the drivers to focus on getting students home safely! Awesome job Lynnox and Natalie!

Miss Wright and Mrs. McIlrath's students were succesful surgeons last week. They conjoined two words to create various contractions. We're happy to report all new contractions have fully recovered and the removed letters were discarded successfully!

Check out these amazing robots that Mrs. Horns class made. They had to create a droid that was made for the movies, and present on their bots powers. Their robots ranged from a maid to mathematician, scouting robots, and even a dancing cat.
