Our Cougar of the Day Thursday was Robert!! Robert is a PK student, nominated by Mrs. Hoffman because he works hard and does his best. Most impressively he can count to 150! Well done sir!!
Today Cougars of the Day are the entire cast of Seussical Kids! These amazing kiddos performed two great shows for almost 900 people yesterday and didn't miss a beat!

Tonight we had an awesome set. I want to thank Miss Young who free handed the drawing. She has amazing talent! As well as Ms. Smith's CHS Advanced Art Class, Mrs. Williams and Mrs. Richards for helping with all the painting! This production was a team effort!

Yesterday we recognized Clair as our Cougar of the Day! She was nominated by Miss Stout because she consistently shows kindness, has grit when working through tough situations, and is a great friend to everyone! Awesome job Clair!
This is Garrett, and just the other day he was recognized as Cougar of the Day! Garrett runs a second grade book club in the mornings, always goes the extra mile, chooses challenges instead of the east way out, and is an amazing part of our school community. Well done Garrett!
Today we kicked off our One School, One Book 2023...The BFG!! Every student received a book, and will have a chance at winning trivia each day by following the reading schedule that came home as well! We encourage all student to read to and with their family each day!
Monday we recognized Janessa and Nevaeh as our first ever Co-Cougars of the Day! These two young ladies saw two kindergarteners (pictured) working on sight words while waiting for their afternoon bus, and without needing to be asked made it their mission to help these kindergartners learn their words! Well done looking for ways to help others be successful and taking initiative and action ladies!

This week we celebrate all things reading with Dress Up Days, sponsored by CES Student Council. To help us celebrate, we will have a Dr. Seuss theme since most people have enjoyed reading his stories!

Did you know CES hosted a presidential visit today for President's Day? 6th graders presented a presidential wax museum for our students to learn about all of our US presidents! It was a fun way for our students to learn about these influential Americans.

First graders arrived to class yesterday to find out the floor was lava! Room transformations in Miss Wright's and Mrs. McIlrath's made math a lot more fun!
